York is proud to support the important work of the American Red Cross. Like York, the Red Cross focuses on helping citizens recover from disasters, emergencies, accidents and natural events. In addition, the Red Cross provides support to military families, trains thousands of civilians each year in topics such as CPR, water safety and disaster preparedness, and facilitates messaging services that help families locate and communicate with loved ones across the world.
By providing financial assistance, sponsoring special fundraising events and encouraging our employees to volunteer, York helps the Red Cross help our communities. Because we recognize the special tie York branches have with their local communities, we strive to support the Red Cross chapters that focus on the areas where our colleagues live and work.
