Executive Biographies

Anthony Galioto

Anthony Galioto is President and Chief Executive Officer of York Risk Services Group and its subsidiaries, as well as a member of York's board of directors. Mr. Galioto has close to 30 years of insurance management experience both in brokerage and underwriting. He has held various management positions in Bogota, Boston, New York, Paris and London and has headed various divisions including domestic and international accident and health, claims services and insurance services. Mr. Galioto is a graduate of Seton Hall University.

Mark Aussicker

Mark Aussicker is Executive Vice President of York Risk Services Group, President of Operations and Services and Chief Claim and Service Officer. In this role, he oversees all aspects of claims administration, managed care and loss control for York’s 30+ locations. A key component of this role is to drive performance, quality and best practices throughout the organization and to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Mark joined York in 1999 and has 23 years experience in the insurance services, carrier and marketing industries. Mark graduated with a business administration degree from the State University College of New York at Oswego and holds an Associate in Claims designation from the Insurance Institute of America.

Todd DeStefano

Todd DeStefano is President of York’s Risk Management Practices division. Mr. DeStefano joined York in 2007 with 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, primarily working for large carriers including AIG, Zurich and Allstate, where he held senior positions in underwriting, claims, marketing and sales. Additionally, Mr. DeStefano was President and CEO of his own TPA and independent adjusting firm for nine years before selling to a private equity firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hall University. Mr. DeStefano also sits on the boards of several industry-related associations, including the American Society of Workers Comp Professionals, Inc. (AMCOMP), the National Workers' Compensation Coalition Association (NWCCA), and Kids Chance of Virginia.

Jody Gray

Jody Gray is President of York Public Entity, a division of York Risk Services Group. Ms. Gray brings more than two decades of experience in public entity claims administration to designing, implementing, and managing customized claims management solutions for public entities. Ms. Gray is a certified workers’ compensation claims adjuster with recognized expertise in the complex California workers’ compensation system. She is a licensed General Adjuster and has earned an Associate in Risk Management designation. Ms. Gray is a frequent speaker and workshop leader at regional and national public entity risk management conferences and actively works with public entities to analyze and influence legislative and regulatory changes that directly affect public entity risk management programs.

Mark Kissick

Mark Kissick Mark Kissick is President of York Programs, a division of York Risk Services Group. Mr. Kissick brings more than 22 years of insurance industry experience to his role in steering the financial results, segment growth, marketing strategy, business development and client satisfaction for York’s programs clients. He previously held management and executive positions with a national underwriter and financial services company and two of its subsidiaries. Mr. Kissick holds a Bachelor of Science in business and finance from the University of Kansas at Lawrence and has attended the Kellogg Executive Management Program at Northwestern University. He is a member of the marketing board of the Association of American General Agents (AAMGA) and sits on the board of directors for Target Markets Program Administrators Association (TMPAA).

Danny Miller

Danny Miller is Executive Vice President of York Risk Services Group and President of the Specialized Loss Adjusting division. Mr. Miller joined the insurance industry in 1988 and has served on the technical and management side of independent adjusting. He has managed regional, national and catastrophe claim operations and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina.

Carol Montgomery

Carol Montgomery is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for York Risk Services Group. Ms. Montgomery has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance, financial services and manufacturing industries. Most recently she led human resources for an international insurance and financial services organization comprised of more than 17,000 employees in 12 countries. Ms. Montgomery has extensive experience in business operations, financial management, marketing and customer relations. She is a graduate of Robert Morris College.

Jon Pease

Jon Pease Jon Pease is Senior Vice President of York Risk Services Group and President of Western Region Claims. This role encompasses the leadership of WellComp, York’s managed care subsidiary. He was formerly CEO of PacMed, a national bill review company, and joined York when it acquired PacMed in 2007. After beginning his career with a major public accounting firm, Mr. Pease spent more than 20 years addressing the unique problems faced by third-party payers in the management of medical treatment and associated litigation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Southern California and a Masters in management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Randall C. Smith

Randall C. Smith Randall C. Smith is Senior Vice President, Commercial Business, York Risk Services Group. Mr. Smith was President of Gregory B. Bragg and Associates, a legacy York company focusing on workers’ compensation claims solutions for California public and private entities. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in accounting and information systems from Brigham Young University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an Associate in Risk Management designation from the Insurance Institute of America.

George Suder

George Suder is President of Claims, Eastern Region, and National Property & Casualty Practice Leader for York Risk Services Group. He has 29 years of insurance industry experience as a multi-line adjuster, claims supervisor, marketing representative, branch manager and regional manager. Mr. Suder received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington Jefferson College.

Jim Sweeney

Jim Sweeney is Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and Executive Vice President of York Risk Services Group. He joined York in 2005 after a career at one of the world's largest insurers. He is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 12 years of public accounting experience specializing in all segments of the insurance industry. Mr. Sweeney is a graduate of Saint Peter's College and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business – Advanced Management Program.

Richard H. Taketa

Richard H. Taketa is President of York's Commercial Businesses, and Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of York Risk Services Group. In this role, Rick oversees the York Programs, York Public Entity, Risk Management Practices, Alternative Risk Solutions, and York Pooling businesses. Mr. Taketa joined York as the Chief Executive Officer of Southern California Risk Management Associates. Previously, he was a co-founder and managing director of a private investment firm and a corporate securities lawyer. Mr. Taketa earned his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University and Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.
